The Lore
The First Bowl
Long ago, a weary traveler arrived from distant lands.
A bowl was prepared — simple, steaming, full of promise.
But it was decided: this would be more than a meal.
It would be an experience.
The Traveler’s Feast
The traveler returned with friends.
Stories were told, laughter filled the air.
Each bowl tasted different,
for the flavor changed with the company kept.
The Great Expansion
Each reopening brought something new.
A wall that hadn’t been there before.
A lantern burning with strange light.
A flavor no one remembered learning.
The Coming of the Fox
One night, a fox of jade fur slipped through the door.
It curled in an empty ramen bowl, tail draped like a banner.
Since then, the fox has guarded the Shoppe,
and some say it stirs the broth when no one is watching.
The Endless Reopening
The Shop never stays closed for long.
It changes, it grows, it wanders.
Sometimes it is a ramen house.
Sometimes a tiki bar.
Sometimes a mead hall.
Always, it is a place of stories —
and always, it is waiting to open again.
